A lot of people love to travel, that is why, good tourism could bring a great fortune to a certain place' economy. Me, myself, I also Love to travel knowing that I could learn a lot from the things I'd see to these different places. Tourism could bring a lot of fortune like it would increase employment rate, it would add investors and business ventures both small and big ventures and etc. With all these opportunities, most economic problems might be address.

When Lolong was captived, Bunawan's economy grow so fast like a monggo seed. A lot of business started there like hotels, inns, restaurants and even small type of business started around the Eco Park itself or shall I say there's a multiplier effect that took place or an event that took place whenever there's a business that started there would also be small businesses that would start around it.

Unemployment rate in Bunawan also lessened when Lolong came. Because of all the Businesses that started on the area, these businesses would really need people to work for them, thus, reducing the unemployment rate around of the town. One of the most famous business that boomed around the area was Cassandra's Bakery, this particular bakery produced the most famous "pasalubong", the LOLONG BREAD.

Now that Lolong died, Bunawan's economy might fall, because less people will visit Bunawan, but because they would preserve  Lolong's body for the next generation to see the BIGGEST CROCODILE EVER ALIVED!, their living would not change and as time passes, I know people would still go to Bunawan to see the preserved body of Lolong.

Personally, I know the people behind Bunawan. Bunawan's Mayor and Agusan Del Sur's Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board member was my mom's first cousins and Bunawan's Tourism Officer was my mom's brother. Actually when Lolong died, My uncle was hospitalised due to stress.

Truly, Lolong bring great Fame and Fortune to Bunawan to think that known people from National Geographic Channel, Discovery channel, Kuya Kim of Matanglawin, Guinness Book Of world Records and So Forth came to visit and witness the Hugeness and the Magnificence of Lolong. I personally saw Lolong and saw what a great blessing he is.

It is not only Bunawan who benefited when Lolong was captivated, even the whole Philippines or shall I say the whole Philippines's Economy benefited from it. There where certain businesses who uses Lolong's name so that people or customers would  come to their businesses. I saw one picture of it at the internet. It would be shown below.
